ELLIOT GEALY

Head Instructor, Mike Bender Golf Academy

Elliot Gealy spent years competing professionally including two seasons on the Nationwide Tour in 2006-07. He was also the leading money winner on the 2004 Hooter's Tour when he won twice that year. He also won both the Hooter's and Tar Heel Tour Championships.
    Before turning professional Gealy was a four-year varsity letter winner at Clemson. His team finished runner-up in the 1999 NCAA Championships and the team held the #1 ranking in the country during portions of that season. The team finished third in 1998 in the NCAAs and also won the ACC Championship in 1997 and 1998.
    Gealy was named to the All-ACC Academic Team in three of his four years.
    Most recently he was the Head Instructor at the Mike Bender Elite Golf Academy in Seoul, South Korea before coming back to the States to join Mike's staff at his headquarters facility at Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary, FL. He has been coached by Mike for many years and his comprehensive understanding of the golf swing and his competitive desire are assets to all of the students who have the opportunity to work with him at the academy.
