Head Instructor, Mike Bender Golf Academy

Jered has been an Instructor with the Mike Bender Golf Academy for the past four years. As Director of Instruction at our Satellite academy at Stoneybrook Golf Club in Orlando, Florida he developed and managed all instructional programs from the ground up including: Junior (beginner and elite), Ladies and Men's.
     His student base includes several elite junior golfers who compete at the local and national level, mini-tour players and several top Florida amateurs. After graduating from Methodist University in 2001, Jered played professionally for five years while being coached by Mike Bender. Throughout his professional career Jered played on the NGA Hooters Tour, US Pro Golf Tour and several mini tours across the United States. He has made it through to the second stage of PGA Tour Qualifying school twice. His most notable professional win was the 2005 Minnesota State Open in his home state. He has shot a 10-under-par 62 in two separate Professional events including on the NGA Hooters Tour.
     During his college career he finished as a two-time, first team All-American and one-time Academic All-American with three collegiate wins.
     With his experience as a highly skilled competitor coupled with his keen understanding of the golf swing, Jered can relate to students in a unique way. Whether your goal is to break 100 or play on the PGA Tour, Jered's passion for teaching will help you achieve your golfing goals.
