MBGA Lands Three in Top 20 at AJGA in Tampa

April 8th 2012 - The Mike Bender Golf Academy had three girls finish in the Top 20 at the Taylormade-Adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook Hosted by Sean O'Hair. In the largest AJGA event of the year Nicole Morales of South Salem, NY finished T-2 after a blistering 68 in the final round (77-70-68). She was three shots back of Maria Torres of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tatiana Pineda of Columbia finished T-5 (74-73-70) while Sammi Lee of Winter Park, FL was T-19 (78-71-75) in the field of 72 which included competitors from 27 states and 16 countries. All three players are students of MBGA Director of Instruction, Cheryl Anderson. |
