Morales Wins AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic

November 27th 2011 - Congratulations to Nicole Morales on Winning the AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic Morales Mounts a Double Comeback in Her First Major AJGA Victory  The
Mike Bender Golf Academy congratulates Nicole Morales of South Salem,
NY, on her outstanding victory at the AJGA's Polo Golf Junior Classic
over Thanksgiving weekend at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens,
FL. The season-ending event includes 78 of the top junior girl golfers
from across the United States and 12 other countries.Morales qualified for the match play portion of the event by shooting even par 144 and then proceeded to knock off four AJGA Rolex All-Americans in her five matches. She bounced back from a three-down deficit in both her semi-final and final match to take her first AJGA title. Morales was under par in all five of her matches on the 6,400 yard PGA Champions Course. This event has been won by Paula Creamer, Grace Park, Vicki Hurst, and Morgan Pressel. Morales has been coached by Mike Bender Golf Academy Director of Instruction, Cheryl Anderson, since she was eight-years-old. |
