The Academy
The Mike Bender Golf Academy is located at the Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, Florida just 10 miles north of downtown Orlando and less than 30 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. The academy features a brand new teaching center (opening Fall 2007) and the Mike Bender Golf Academy at Timacuan includes the original MEGSA Perfect Practice Equipment training center with a four-bay facility that is used almost daily by some of the world's top golfers who train at the Mike Bender Golf Academy.
    The practice range includes multiple practice greens, bunkers and a unique short game range designed by Mike Bender and is lighted in the evenings until 9pm.

Timacuan Golf Club
Timacuan was built in 1987 as a Ron Garl design. Architect Bobby Weed who has reworkd and updated many of the TPC courses around the country has redesigned many of the elements of the course to ensure that all players will have an enjoyable experience. Timacuan plays to a par of 71 and the course plays over 7000 yards from the back tees.
    Timacuan's 24,000 square foot clubhouse has outstanding banquet facilities making it a popular location for all types of social functions including private parties and wedding receptions.

From Disney World or downtown Orlando:
Take I-4 East bound to Exit 101A. Turn right onto 46A at light. Next light turn right on Reinhart. Next light turn left on Timacuan Blvd. Follow Timacuan Boulevard 1.5 miles to the Mike Bender Golf Academy on the left side.

Coming from Daytona Beach area:
Take I-4 West bound to Exit 101A (Sanford/Heathrow)and stay left, following signs to 46A. Turn right on 46A. Go over I-4 to Reinhart Rd. and turn right. Next light turn left on Timacuan Blvd. Follow Timacuan Boulevard 1.5 miles to the Mike Bender Golf Academy on the left side.


If You're Flying ...
The Lake Mary area is conveniently serviced by the Orlando International Airport. From the airport take 528 East to 417 (also known as the Greenway). Take the Greenway North towards Sanford exiting at Lake Mary Boulevard. Go West approximately 5 miles to Rinehart Road. Turn right (North) on Rinehart. Timacuan Boulevard will be on the right side of the road approximately 2 miles north of Lake Mary Boulevard. Follow approximately 1.5 miles to the Mike Bender Golf Academy on your left side.
