| MBGA Student Jason Hak Breaks Sergio's Record |
|
Sergio García is no longer the youngest player ever to make the cut in a European Tour tournament. That record now belongs to Lake Mary, Florida's 14-year-old Jason Hak who trains at the Mike Bender Golf Academy with his coach Mike Bender.
He shot 70 in each of the opening two rounds of the Hong Kong Open in November to make the level-par cut of 140. Hak is 107 days younger than García was when he made the cut as a 15-year-old at the Turespana Open Mediterrania in Valencia, Spain in 1995. |
